I just now noticed the thread-starter gets the caption "Topic Author" under their avatar. Is that really new or have I just been blind to it forever?
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that was one of the added features from the most recent forum upgrade some number of months back.

I also can't say definitively, but did notice that recently the author box seemed taller than it used to be with more flair in general.

I noticed it at least a couple weeks back... when I got back onto the forums after being away for a bit.
It may well have been there before that, but I remember actively noticing it and thinking "That's a useful bit of info to have in a thread."
