Wow. I just noticed that as well. Thought the private messages and preferences just went away. They are there when I rotate horizontally however it clips off message text on the side of the threads.

I'm having the same problem as Wade and Rob F: on my iPhone, the Private Messages and Preferences links are just gone when holding the phone vertically. They re-appear if I switch to horizontal view (although the page itself becomes oddly sized--only about 2/3 as wide as the screen).

Also, when holding the phone vertically, some of the text is getting cut off on the right side, especially quoted text. Scrolling and re-sizing don't allow me to read the obscured text.

Sadly, there probably isn't a way to completely eliminate spam.

Any chance we could get more difference between the colors of the title and the "X new" alert?

Also, on my phone, the private messages and preferences now split the "Welcome" message into 3 lines.

I agree! Right now they blend into one another.

My iPhone looks great in portrait. Awesome!

In landscape, there’s a big black border (10% of the screen?) on either side, and the last half of each line is covered by the wood border. Non-awesome...

I have the opposite problem. In portrait the borders take up half my screen. In landscape it seems ok but I have to scroll around to see everything.

If it helps, my screen is 375x667, according to whatismyscreenresolution.net

Responsive design is trickier than it looks. I was on the test team for Progressive’s mobile app and quoting website

We used that website, and Chrome’s device emulation a lot. ( www.sitepoint.com/how-to-simulate-mobile-devices-with-device-mode-in-chrome/ ). Both free, but neither is 100% accurate. I’m not sure any developer tools are.
