The mobile version made everything very narrow, so posts are harder to read, especially ones that were formatted with particular spacing a like second hand seller's sale threads.

The mobile version seems to have removed all of the tabs at the top of the home page, requiring me to go through extra pages just to get to the forum.

The mobile version added extra pages I need to go through to view forums separately rather than just having every thread altogether sorted by newest post.

The mobile version seems to have removed time stamps from posts.

The mobile version seems to have made it substantially harder to send a pm by removing the button under each username that used to appear on all of ther posts.

The mobile version added extra pages I need to go through to view my messages, or even to find out if I have new messages.

Please add a button to view as desktop.

I have yet to find a single mobile version of a website that I have said "I am happier using this than using the desktop version on this mobile device". I have found two apps where I am happier using the app than the desktop version on my mobile device: Google docs and Google sheets, and that's because the desktop version just doesn't function on mobile devices.
I play Wizard.

Brian, You're all alone in first place. :)

I'm on a mobile device, I don't see a place to check personal messages.

On my iPad, when I go from the "recent" tab to a topic recently discussed, I have to reload the page or only the first post is visible. I am using chrome and in landscape mode. It was not true with this thread but was with a wizards forum post on dc's and another one.

I don't see any improvements to the mobile version. Can we remove it and go back to the desktop version visible on mobile? Or add a button to let me choose that?

As far as I can tell it's responsive web page design. Meaning the site functionality changes dynamically based on the size of your browser. So it's not like traditional mobile web sites where they redirect you to a different URL for the mobile site. All the code is the same running in all browsers and changes based on your current browser size.

You can see this by viewing it on your desktop and making the window really small, the menu at the top disappears and becomes a side menu like you see on a mobile site.

So while I had no involvement in the changes in this site, I can tell you it's probably not as easy as just putting a link to a desktop version.

Responsive design is all the rage. It gives the illusion of simplifying maintenance because you only have one code base.

I say "illusion" because there are so many mobile devices, OSs, and browsers that you have to have much more complex code for things to look right on all of them. In the long run, I'm not sure it buys you anything.

But, like everyone else said. If there was a way to just view this site, or almost any other, in non-mobile mode, I would flip that switch so hard...

That's my biggest peeve with eBay's site. It lets you choose to view desktop, for a screen or two anyway, then sneaks you back into mobile. I've pretty much stopped using it when I'm not at home.

Yeah, I guess using TD just became too difficult when I'm not at home to ever do it again. Oh well. I'll check back every few months and see if I can use it on mobile, but as is, it's just not worth it, the interface lost so many basic functions that I relied heavily on.

I can't even go to the transmute, trade token, or character card pages from the TD website. I have to open a separate tab, search in Google for "True Dungeon 4th Level Character" and open it that way.
