Anyone a fan of The Land: Chaos Seed books by Aleron King?

I just listened to book 1 on my Pax South trip. It's an interesting world and concept. Some of the rpg parts felt bleh when there was brick of repetitive text. (Example of his double level ups). Overall I enjoyed it, not sure when I'll jump into book 2.

I found the dings a bit annoying too since they happened a lot. My brother-in-law had gotten the first few books on our audible so I heard them out. It gets better and the dings aren’t as much as the first book. I’m waiting on Book 8 now. Book 7 was really good.

Be an interesting series to see in TD. A Litrpg story moved to an Rpg style game. Interesting to see if that season would add Luck to TD since you Wouldn't be able to play as a chaos seed since they have multiple lives.

How would luck translate to TD stats/game play for a player ability stat?

Most classes has base ability score 10 (+O) Rogues and bards have base score 12 (+1).

Obviously there would be gear to modify.

What would luck affect? Saving throws. To hit or damage? Treasure pulls?

Obviously a lucky player would use his luck to pass a saving throw. Would say they could add the modify after they roll the dice and know the DC is announced. Wouldn't want to use the luck just to fail....

And a lucky player could use their power to hit on attack? Slide puck......, feel lucky? Add modify to attack to hit.

Players would Only be able to use your the modifier once per adventure......... typicall

Make it though the adventure alive without using your luck? Add your luck modifier to your Treasure pulls. After all luck can be profitable.

But if you up dead before the end of the adventure then luck won't help you out with finding treasure but suppose players could use it to help others
