Yes.

As for additional thought.
What about a Charm of Dodging +1 to AC
Or an Ioun Stone of Focus +1 to damage/healing

I know the Ring of Focus is an old UR, but it would be nice to have it available as a rare given all the other focus items. Perhaps there could be a Ring of Minor Focus +1 damage / heal in the ring spot without overlapping the old UR?

Along the same vein, perhaps a Shirt of Minor Focus?

I do not have a specific token in mind but was looking at quantities/variety based on slot. Maybe this can enhance player choice and widen BiS discussion for red level builds. Quite a few slots have less than 10 tokens to choose from and Legs and Shirt are sadly the lowest at 6.

Just my two cents from a new player.

Legs and shirt are both fairly new.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

Not to be too picky, but wouldn't bead be lowest with 2 rares?

Absolutely - Ring of Focus is definitely eclipsed as a UR, and it's fine to print another ring with the same effect as you can use both.

I'd like to see things like a +1 Katana, +1 Wakizashi, etc in the rare level.
Exotic weapons are pretty spiffy.

Maybe a whip of entanglement?

or a Bola, for ranged?

a Double headed Orc Battle Axe?

that sort of thing.

Bring back cool mundane items like Rope of Elvenkind that add to the role play/creativity aspect of TD that has been missing. Collapsing 10ft Pole. We all love the 10ft Pole, it's time for an upgrade. Ever-lighting Torch etc.

So... let's talk about Rogues.

Rogues keep getting rogue focused gear that is... not very good.

A bunch of items that boost sneak attack only (and thus don't show up on the party card), and are often a worse effect than other items in the same slot which are usable by all.

Examples would include:

2019 Rare Gloves of stabbing which give +2 to hit with sneak attacks vs. Rare Gauntlets of Oger Power which give +1/+1 on every attack.

Other examples would include Boots of Backsabbing and Shoes of Sneaking both of which are probably outclassed by the rare +2 melee damage boots usable by all.

I really like the Hood of Shadows approach here. Could we write some wrongs with:

1. A decent melee boosting token.
2. That does something special / great for the Rogue.
3. But is usable by all/most so not a bummer pull.

Examples:

Poisoned Vambraces - Wrist - All but Cleric and Paladin:
+2 Poison melee damage, additional +3 to sneak attack damage

Skulk Cloak - Back - All
+1 to AC and Saves, Rogues gain +2 to Sneak Attack damage

Loki's Pendant - Neck - All
+2 to Reflex and Will Saves, Rogues gain +1 to hit

I couldn't find anywhere in the Player's guide or DMG that states healing spells can be used to damage undead. Maybe a token to allow that would be cool. It's something I remember from DnD, but maybe it was a house rule we used or specific to a particular version.

Tome of Last Rights: Cure spells may be targeted at undead to deal sacred damage

It needs some limitations though.

At 5th level this probably gets unreasonable for cure serious, so maybe limit it to 0-2 level spells. The damage being sacred thematically makes sense, but with sacred damage doubling on undead might be overpowered even for cure moderate.

It would make sense to require a touch attack so maybe pick up the 'slide a 15' requirement from spiritual hammer.

I like Krym's quiver idea as well, but rather than a straight +1 it could be more interesting to make some damage type modifying ones over time. Something like

Fire Quiver: Bow/Crossbow shots deliver fire damage

without modifying the damage directly. All it takes is for the coach to circle the type on the party card, no math involved other than for the DMs, who generally only have to think about 1 type of damage for their room anyway. This ends up sort of as a pseudo-slot like Cleric's holy symbol. In general I think the typed damage boosts/penalties per room aren't enough to make this overpowered.

If it's going to directly boost damage it might make more sense as a lowish level transmute that only boosts damage when a consumable munition is used along the lines of greater alchemist pouch/arcane scroll tube.
