I'd like to see Gear tokens return. Either reprints like rope, hammer and spikes, flint and steel, water bag, Turkey leg, or new ones. Maybe functional reprints like wine bag, Golden Mirror, etc.

If there just isn't room for them anymore in the 40 common tokens since there are so many slots now - why not expand the commons to 50 or 60 tokens? That would give the elbow room to do some fun stuff. :)

Reprints of some of the older scrolls, particularly those paladins can use.

Scroll: Feather Fall (how to get down into the Underthing? Jump!)

Scroll: Detect Life - decent utility scroll for bard/cleric/Druid - no paladin on prior version?

Scroll: Magic Vestments

I’m not against expanding the sets but I think we need not to water down a 10 pack to the point of being useless to a new player. Generally when I think of commons, I think they are there for players that are playing for the first time. If there is too much gear then they may not pull enough armor, weapons, or generally useful stuff.

Since one of the dungeons will be in the underthing, I would love to see a foxen gear token. It was basically Auri's alchemical lamp friend :)

Agreed, I'm only thinking of a couple/few gear tokens each year.

Maybe move any gear items to uncommon other than the 50gp gear item. New players will be less effected by uncommon gear tokens then common ones.
Each common shows up on average 1.7 times per 10 person run
Each uncommon should show .5 times per 10 person run. So uncommon might be a better place for odd situational tokens.
Maybe make the 2 uncommon gold items gear so they don’t become more planks

This would also allow for making gear that is viewed as "more powerful", or at least that sounds like it is more powerful.

The thought of us going to a haunted house just collided in my brain with thinking about this year's adventurer's guild token... I now want masks at common/uncommon/rare like the ones that seem to show up in every episode of Scooby-Doo. I'll leave it to others to come up with what the masks are and the effects.

New players use commons more than anyone else, and asking them to remember situational effects is I think far too difficult.

I loved the common ioun stone from this year, +1 fort save if you equip no other ioun stones, but I thought it was a little too weak. I could see either +1 to all saves if you equip no other Ioun Stones, or create a series of these, though I would be firmly in another camp.

More items like the shirt that gives +1 hp, the amulets that give +2 or +3 hp (so new players can learn about different slots).

Leg slot item that gives +1 dex

Belt slot + 1 con

Hand slot +1 Str

Perhaps a drawback for these if needed for gameplay balance.

I LOVED the Ioun Stone Norse Opal.

Basic armors we haven't seen yet, or haven't seen in awhile (Ring, Scale, Banded, Padded armor, etc)

Basic, unusual weapons.

+1 because commons are all about new players. Giving them something tangible like the worn items are a great way to do this.

Please more common stat stuff goes on party card. It's frustrating and disappointing the many times in coaching we have to explain well this may or may come in handy but it doesn't actually affect your stats. Would prefer more of the +1 stat variety or +2 to hp vs +2/-1 type token buffs.

I like the idea of some synergy stuff that affects hp as that doesn't affect the party card.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven
