TOPIC: RF-CoA Question

RF-CoA Question 5 years 3 weeks ago #13

Wayne Rhodes wrote: I’m going to venture a guess that TD will allow use of CoA without RFID at origins it the reason you have not exchanged was they ran out. I’m definitely wanting to swap at origins as well

The old ones will be usable at Origins, because they are valid through December 1st, 2020.

I never said they Would run out. I said they would be available as long as they don’t.

According to this post you must have the new CoA at origins 2019 to use it at all.

Owners of the 2016 version needed to exchange it for the 2019 version before December 1st, 2020.

I guess both things could be technically true:

a. That you need the new one to use it at origins.
b. The deadline to turn in the old one is December 1st, 2020.

It might actually be a good idea, as no one who ran a dungeon in 2019 could say "but I didn't know!!!"

I’m definitely not trying to spend lies but, My understanding is that while you have until December 1st, 2020 to exchange, the other post clearly states from origins 2019 forward you must have the RFID CoA to use the CoA in the dungeons.

I think they should wave said policy if they run out, but I’m not making anything up.

They probably would, remember running out might be as simple as a single box having been forgotten in carbondale, or a tech issue that delayed things by a few days. I'm sure whatever the case our old COAs will work until the new ones are available, and that TD will give us enough time to make the swap for new ones in person if that's what we prefer :)

I’m guessing they will be opening
The Exchange room/area up
On Wednesday to help with the bottle
Neck, maybe just for COA’s only.
