Hi All,
General question. Not sure where to look in the rules. Question is, 5th level Wizard (Ring of Heroism) has Wand Mastery Special Power (+2 damage), Is the +2 damage confered from an Ioun Stone Fluorite Cube stackable or does the cube confer Wand Mastery (meaning duplicate ability). Thanks all, Spud

Ioun Stone Fluorite Cube does not confer Wand Mastery, it's just a +2 bonus.

Obviously, the text printed on the token can't be verbose, but if Jeff's intention was for the ISFC to confer Wand Mastery and therefore not stack, the token and/or its description in the TDb would specifically state that intent.

For the record, your question was quite reasonable. I'm just letting you know the mindset of token design. :)
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

Please advise if this is official guidance on the item.

To be clear, the question is:
A 5th level Wizard using the rare wand from this year would normally do 10 damage. Our understanding with the ioun stone (see shared sheets on damage calculations, etc.) was that the damage would increase to a total of 12 damage. Would it be 10 or 12 in this case?

Even the token database doesn't state anything about this.

I am pretty sure you get the mastery for being 5th level and get +2 damage. The Cube gives you another +2 damage of the same elemental type as the wand.

I thought it was pretty clear
4th level wizard + ioun = +2
5th level wizard + ioun = +4

Fred K wrote: Wait, what? Are you saying that the Ioun Stone Flourite Cube has no effect if someone is already a 5th level wizard? Quite a few people got that token thinking they would stack (there is a lot of white space on the token - more than enough to state this conveys the 5th level Wizard ability wand mastery.

Fred, I think you are misreading something. Let me use your example - a wizard using a Wand of Thor's Flury would normally do 8 pts of damage. If they equipped the Ioun Stone of Fluorite Cube they would do 10 pts of damage. If they were 5th level then they would do 12 pts of damage.
