As to the making the teeth more useable, let’s compare to the rod.

The rod gives a standing +1 to str/dex/con/hp/all saves. And then the 1 time a year unique card.

I think the teeth 1 use per dungeon is rough, expecially considering how many dungeons are designed to not allow the ability to overcome the obstacle... which is problematic.

So I think it just inately giving psionic potential ends the token tax for its usage, and as a grand eldritch it should remain slotless once complete. For its unique ability, maybe 1/year allow you to equip a new card call the psionist. Obviously this still has time for development, but it could also be as easy as an ability overlay to still give character flavor but make it easier than 12 unique cards.

As to making each tooth useful or upping sales... I think it’s largely due to the way the item was implemented. I largely think it’s too late to change that at this juncture, but something to strongly think about in the next cycle.



The unique effect is already announced: its admission to a special event in 2022 (or maybe 23?) - it’s in the tdb entry.

That’s not to say there couldn’t be more - but that part is out there.

I always assumed the event entry was just going to be a cool one time thing (maybe in line with something like true realm or TDC at walkers bluff), not actually the finished items unique power itself.
