TOPIC: Infernal Hate Plate clarification

I have a barbarian equipped with Infernal Hate plate and I was wondering how that interacts with the Drow Blood weapons and the ring of Dark Health. I assume that the armor prevents the use of these, but I don't want to just assume.

Any input would be appreciated.

The text is a little ambiguous, but TokenDB clears it up. Only spells will heal you, and only if someone else cast them on you. So, you can wear the tokens you mention; they just won’t trigger healing. So, the Ring is a waste of space, but you can still smack things with the Drow weapons.

Well the Ring still does +1 damage to the monster but yes, no healing.

This is a little off topic, but should we really be allowing barbarians to wear plate?

It’s like a plate chest, not full plate. It’ll be fine.
