The Silverweave Shirt reduces damage taken from missile weapons by one.

Does this work against Blunder weapon misfires? Would it reduce the two points of damage to one?

I'm guessing not, but it would make the Blunder weapons more attractive.

I doubt this works, but I would like to hear from the smart people in charge. Btw it's the Silkweave Shirt that prevents missile damage not the Silverweave Shirt (that one prevents melee damage).

That's what I figured. This is unrelated but I have a theory that the Construct (Golem) we will have to face will have at least partial DR against normal types of missiles (bolt and arrows) as they are made from tough metals that arrows just bounce right off. This will make the blunder weapons needed against them as far as ranged goes. Perhaps even edged weapons will be less effective as well, as compared to blunt weapons.

No

from the description of every blunder weapon in the TDb :
Misfire damage is not altered by ability scores, special abilities (including barbarian DR), or items that modify (+ or –) damage.
