I confirmed it with Brian this evening.. he's moving to Columbus OH (like in the days to come).. no word yet on his possible return during gencon, nor on the hotel's possible continuance of the red dragon inn |

i have read the new details several times now. i have a few observations.
1. there are 3 dungeon runs...one puzzle and two combat.
2. they will all culminate at the same time in the final/dragon room.
3. there will be a grind event this year.
4. no tavern. hoping to have BIG return next year.
5. no true arena.
since there are 3 runs, does that mean there will be 24 gold tickets?
someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

Jeff, Per this thread ( http://truedungeon.com/trueforum/index.php?topic=6794.0), Jeff said that there were 16 Golden Ticket Tokens. I'd guess that 8 will be for the Puzzle Dungeon and 8 will be for the Combat Dungeon - although I could see all 16 being for Combat Dungeon. I'd guess that more than half of the winners would like to fight Smoak instead of doing puzzles - but I've underestimated the demand of Puzzle Dungeons before. Who knows, maybe Jeff will let the winners vote on whether to do a puzzle & combat or two combats. Mike |

I think we are just going to stick with the original 16 GT and have each group do the mirror "Dragonward" adventures. Besides...it will be hard to fit more than 16 people in the exclusive bonus, "no one else sees" 8th room after the dragon fight. It seems they will find a secret door with a tunnel that leads into a special room.

I dont know how much volunteering I will be doing this year if the tavern is gone. That really stinks. I got my roomate to purchase a badge and come up with money just because of TD and talking about how much fun that tavern is....We'll still come but i really hope the tavern comes back. its a very sad thing to hear your cutting one of the most entertaining things about true dungeon for myself and many others out of the experience.
