Very true.  You have Mac vs. Windows vs. Linux.  You have IE vs. Firefox vs. Chrome vs. Safari vs. Mobile vs. iPad.

Yep, definitely willing to commit to giving it a shot.  I think we might need to tweak things a bit for the Wish ring- the current ebay auction for the ring will give us a better idea of their current value.

I'm with Xavon- I'd like the $8k order to be condensed, as well.

My initial suggestion was for the "set" items only for incomplete sets.   Not open season for all older purps.

Yeah, but that's *exactly* what happened last year.

First it was just the "Mithral Chainmail" that was going to be available (it was actually going to be a bona fida reprint at one point). Then they opened it up to all "set" items. Then things got murky and it became open season for all older purps.

If we open this can of worms again, it's only going to be a matter of time before an accidental mailing of an incorrect newsletter or enough people complaining (or begging) for an exception, results in a repeat of last year.

Yeah, don't sell the cheese token.  I happen to know the creator of that particular token.

I think George's system is worthwhile enough to give it a try. I'm interested to see how well it works. ::crosses fingers::

You don't want to use the price guide - it is sorely out of date.

Checking past eBay auctions is probably your best bet (to get an idea of what they're worth).

Hey all.

I have no time to play TD at the Con anymore, sad to say. So I dug my tokens out of storage with the thought of selling them, and pulled up the current price guide. I found the +2 Great Axe, Ring of Evasion, and Savior Stone, which are the biggies I have (small collection).

But I was unable to locate the following in the price guide:

Wooden token, Rare: Potion: Drow Blade Venom
Plastic Token, Rare: Ring of Fortitude

I keep thinking I just missed the ring, being that it's a plastic, but I couldn't find it. Any thoughts on prices for these?

(I also have an 'Everfull Cheese' token that was hand made by the tavern wenches for BYOV...not sure if I want to sell that one though Smiley)

Will there be a riddle reveal newsletter?
I couldn't make it to the event on Sunday, but would love to know the answers to the puzzles, usually there is a newsletter as I recall. Just wondering.

I am planning something!  Sorry!  The tokens consumed a bunch of time, and now did the holiday weekend.  Back at it this week!

I think George's set suggestion works well and seems balanced.  I am for it.

kurtreznor: $2,000
george:  $1,000
SageSTL: $1,000
Xavon: $1,000
Incognito: $1,000
eldrad12000: $1,000

This is the last list, and both binia and Kithren Bloodwood seem to be interested.  With both of them, that would but us at nine lots, unless kurtreznor decides he only wants one lot, or someone backs out.  Or we find seven more people...

Also, binia mentioned this, so I thought I should point out that I would want to go condensed instead of loose packs.

I think we might be able to make George's approach work.  We'll need to get the group (close to) finalized- and, of course, wait to see if the $8k deal changes at all this year.
