Duffy (the little guy on your right in my avatar) tore his ACL and has been hobbling along all week. He goes in for surgery tomorrow, so here's hoping everything goes well.

Who knew dogs even had an ACL?

Brad, I hope Duffy goes through surgery fine and makes a full recovery. We found out when my Mother-In-Law's Yorkie got seriously injured that small dogs are really tough and have great powers of recovery.

Hope Duffy's surgery goes well. How did that happen?

Not sure, but he's only 12 lbs, I mean 5.4 kgs, so jumping up on the bed doesn't always work. So we think he probably missed and landed wrong

That sucks but good thing for surgery. I sometimes wonder about that with our small dogs. I've heard them miss before and land hard. We tried ramps and stairs and their to scared to use them so now we just hope that they always make it when we are not at home.
