So I have been looking for two games - not sure if they will be available at GC. Anyone have these or any information on them?

Century: Spice Road
Roll Player

Love Roll Player... didn't get a chance to play the other at Origins... sigh

I backed the expansion on KS - now I just need to find the base game.

I had coolstuffinc contact me when they got it in. You have to jump on it when they do... sells out quick.

If you don't mind paying full retail Thunderworks Games has it on their site.

Roll Player will supposedly be returning to retailers later this month, so I'll bide my time.

Any VIGs with early access Thursday morning and nothing they need to rush to grab for themselves? Plan B Games will supposedly have some copies of Century: Spice Road for sale at GC - I'll buy you a drink if you could grab one for me during early access time...

I'll have to try Century: Spice Road. Has anyone here tried it... any good?

Spice Road is excellent. Similar to Splendor, but faster. Played four players and finished the game in about 45 minutes, with rules explanation.

The playmat they offer is gorgeous and really adds some shine to the game. Super nice, highly recommend.

And yes, both game and playmat will be at Gen Con. Game is $50, playmat is $30.

Mysterium, codenames, Tsuro, munchkin I enjoy playing the most but been a while since I've played them. I haven't been going to my gaming Meetup group lately

$80 for "Splendor, but faster"? Yeesh. Splendor is already overpriced for what you get.

Well, you don't really need the playmat. And you can get it cheaper through retailers like CSI and MM.

Games played last night in the Game Cave:

5-Minute Dungeon (tons of fun, would be great for kids)
Lorenzo di Magnifico (great game, but really frustrating)
Piece of Cake (I understand NY Slice is better)
Sushi Go (fun, like 7 Wonders light)

You could always pick it up and then turn around and eBay it for twice the price, like some folks have. Their initial print run is expected to sell out. It was gone at Origins by the end of the first day.

Picked up Dice Forge from my flgs today, along with the latest mythos pack for the Arkham Horror card game. Took about 20 minutes to sort Dice Forge into its storage tray in the box. Would recommend picking up a plastic spudger tool to make swapping the die faces a little easier without damaging them.
