Hmmmm...politicians pursuing private money and control instead of public money and control? Who could possibly benefit from this decision? ;)

Jokes aside, we will always benefit from more rooms near the convention center.

Strange the article doesn't mention where, but still certainly a good thing.

People usually speculate about the Pan Am plaza. But my understanding is that ownership of the site is complex.
