Treasure draws for the N1 module will be from the 2008 in treasure draw pile you will see at Gen Con. The Pat Rothfuss adventures will use the 2017 draws.

There is not a perfect solution to the issue of running modules from different years but we feel this is the best option available.

And yes there will be monster bits from modules N2 and and N3 at Origins, however the same thing could happen if you drew treasure tokens on Thursday morning at Gen Con. If you are worried about spoilers then keep all your treasure tokens from N1 from Origins, as well as all your adventures that you have at Gen Con and redeem them Saturday night at Gen Con.

I'm assuming you mean 2018 treasure draw pile. Had to read that twice. Was any good stuff available in the 2008 treasure?

Thank you.

This also prevents hording of Treasure chips. I imagine it would be a strain on the system if we munchkins held on to a few thousand treasure chips for a month and a half.

And then all showed up on Thursday morning at Gen Con to cash them in.

Mind Flyer Ooze, Stirge Spittle, Outsider Feather.

+1 Mighty Long Bow, Ekdars Tinkering Tool and Widseths Mystical Lute.

Rod of Seven Parts Segment 1. ;)

So 2008 could be fun...

Agreed. I won't be saving then. Monster bit spoilers are not a big deal to me.

It was speech to text; mistranslated 'two thousand eighteen' as 'two thousand eight in'.

Also, note to self, maybe this was actually a clue to word play being used in a puzzle this year. I still remember how happy i was when i solved the '1002 exits' room years ago.

2008 tokens... That might make a cool twist if you did a retro dungeon sometime, and used old tokens people submitted for transmutes and trade tokens, as the treasure for the retro dungeon. Maybe have a new transmute item that requires a bunch of generic UR's to build, and then use the retro dungeon to seed old UR's out to new players.
