We also don't know if it can just avoid combat coming back from the maze and run away. It is doubtful but we don't really know. So it is a good backup but not something I would count on.

This also reminds me we will NOT have ALERTNESS because that is an Elf Wizard spell not an Elf Illusionist spell. So the CoAS might be even more pertinent.

Good point! I will have 10 CoAS with me so we should be covered there - just make sure everyone leaves a charm slot for it.

I am transmuting for a CoAS at Origins, and will have 5 Scrolls of Spike Growth on me. Already have Amorgen's, Briano's, Shield of the Scholar, and a CoA equipped.

Will also have a Ring of Spell Storing and a Carter's Tome of Insight available to lend to the cause if needed. :)

More detailed description: We killed it.






Ok, here's my recollection. Likely to be some errors.

Round 1:
We had the Elf Wizard Illusionist use his Crown of Expertise to stun/damage it, and proceeded to deal somewhere between 300-400 points.

Round 2:
Elf Wizard uses real spell to daze draccus. Cleric uses CoE to restore the Elf Wizard's spell. I think we did closer to 500 points of damage this round.

Round 3:
Elf Wizard uses restored spell to daze again. Spellcasters pile on enough damage to kill it without counting up the sliders damage.



I heard a rumour that another team also killed it not too much later, without even bothering to stun it.
