I do, kinda. I use my nightmare build for nightmare runs and if the group decides to play a lesser difficulty rateing i keep my TEs equiped and only use the single token pack i got at entry.

Yes I don't use my Nightmare builds on Normal. It is overkill. In Hardcore I use my Nightmare build.

I like to just pick 2-4 tokens and have those be my build. Last time I played Elf Wizard for example, my entire build was: +3 Staff of Focus, Ring of Greater Focus, and treasure enhancers.

Sometimes the group isn't sure about difficulty and so I'll give my Nightmare build, but then Normal is chosen. In that situation a couple of times I have asked the coach to nerf my damage on the party card.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

I generally just ask the Coach to nerf my damage. It is kinda sad when the cleric is putting up 40's for a good damage roll and the normal barbarian is getting like 20.

I have a 100 hp variant for my fighter and cleric now which also nerfs my damage but makes me almost impossible to kill.

Yes, still overkill for normal with suboptimal builds. So, going to redo all of the builds and focus on making use of rares. I do like the idea of running a small number of tokens as an alternative as the issue with multiple builds is too much fiddling around with a lot of different tokens.

Though one thing that works for making my builds less effective is when melee stats are used given that almost all of my builds are ranged (outside of wizards that aren't either ). That happened frequently.

My only exception is when I am running with a new group and play the healer. I will use my Nightmare build so I keep them alive.
