TOPIC: Swimming in Darkwood Planks!

(Did this on my phone and it was supposed to be under all things treasure token. If an admin can move it I'd appreciate )

As I sit here counting my 2018 tokens for transmute I now have over 120 planks after my planned transmutes. I'm by no means one of the big fish buyers/traders.

I got to thinking.. maybe a 2019 transmute consulting of a large amount of planks to build a magical portable transforming quest lodge. A lot of wood, philosopher stones, some steel, and silk for furnishings and presto! Home away from home that fits in your pocket.

What does it do? Come up with some ideas! maybe it grants a few HP, or you can't be put to sleep, or grants you the option to cook a pre-quest meal with various effects.

Just so many planks...

How about we build a Trojan Horse out of all these planks? Or maybe in a Python-esque manner - a giant Wooden Rabbit!

1/game your party could get a surprise round in a combat

Would be sweet to turn the tables on those pesky monsters - when we jump out from our subterfuge --- although we'd better remember to be inside theHorse/ Rabbit when we do it - don't want to make the same mistake King Arthur did!

Lots of planks, some hides to give it some natural "fur" on the outside, some steel for the wheels, silk to make the insides comfy - and 2 stones for the eyes :P

A figurine with a transmute path would be awesome in 2019 to offload the amount of dark wood planks.

I've used up all mine, but I had a lot to start with.

But I have a ton of Philosopers Stones.

Many tokens trade into them and everything I craft does not use many. I suspect lots are in this situation based on the market price in many stores.

If you look at the "drop rate" of DP in token 10 packs, and the consumption rate in recent recipes, you'll see there is an imbalance.

In addition, I suspect the rate of DP returns to TD for transmutes are higher than some other classes, so it may be that their rate in the treasure pule

That would be awesome but I haven’t seen any discussion of the sort.

I love this idea!!

Throughout the past few years Jeff and crew have always taken care of the glut issue by having next year transmutes require more of the excess Trade Tokens from the year previous.

That is True, Jeff is great about modifying recipes but I’ve got enough DP to build a house.
