There is no separate TDC 2018 - although some of the the events (Patron run, True Horde) are being offered at Origins instead.

There will be no TDC is Carbondale in 2018. We have moved all those events to Origins in June because it is a mudch better place with lots more room. You can read more about Origins here:

I’ll disagree on “better.” It has great atmosphere and a bar, and I loved the smial. I had a great time, with one exception. I’d already blocked off vacation time for it.

I won’t dispute bigger and more flexible. And it’s definitely a shorter drive.

I assume you meant that TDC had a great atmosphere and the bar?

I haven't been to Origins, but I have to say that I'm sure it will be great.

For me, the most fun of TDC was creating puzzles and tokens. That said, I am sure I will enjoy the events at Origins.

No, “smial.” That’s what hobbits call their underground homes.

But it smelled okay, too.

It was an awesome setting. Great atmospherics.

But limited. Only one dungeon and the post dungeon logistics were cumbersome.

Maybe do it again on the 20th anniversary?

I loved the ambiance of the winery.

I hope to make it to Origins... but I have a work conflict. I am trying to arrange (and train) a coworker to do it so I can come and do the patron event... I just don’t know
