I suspect that usage will become more common.

That one probably gets used a lot - I wonder if most people just don't tell the Dm as players track their own hp.

Almost every run I have been on with the teeth I have used that ability and just not told the DM since one keeps track of their own hp.

Just remember, psychic power can only be used once during the adventure, regardless of which one you use.

If I have 1 tooth, all but the 1 are marked out. When I use the ability, the DM crosses out the remaining numbers or the whole cell.

Why make it that complicated in stead of just writing the number of teeth?

Somebody might choose to alter a single number?

I think right now with slotless items my builds probably max out in the mid 50's or so. So my thought is that after the party card verification I remove the Tokens that I've flagged as necessary for the dungeon (weapons, TE's, Teeth, DM verify stuff, etc.) and use some sort of Token wallet to put them in and then go store my binders at the bag check. I think this may pair down the Tokens I have to bring through the dungeon into the low 20's or so per build. And if the Token Wallet has some sort of belt clip i should be set. Then all i have to worry about is a system for consumables. But I don't seem to use many of them.

I am not sure they have changed the rule that required all tokens in use to be brought through the dungeon. I know people are routinely stashing stuff though.

Currently people can do that with anything recorded on the party card. They are just cheating themselves I believe is the current mindset. So why would psychic be more important than your to hit, save, or damage numbers?
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.

I'm sorry to see the official ruling on this is to stay with a check mark. But I do see this as too late to change for this year's Gencon. It sounds like an easy enough change to make in the future.

A number in that box would be cool. Also it would give the DM a way to mark it off the party card as used but that would introduce another set of conversations/debates.

I know its lame to have tons of tokens to carry through the dungeon and potentially have to show.
Trust me when I say, without a uniform way for all the coaches to mark it and all the DMs trained to look for that specific mark, you're far better off showing it.

Quick hand writting + low light + time crunch = never figuring it out.
Check Mark = easy to identify and know Yes they have it.
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!

The party card no longer tracks single-use effects. E.g., once upon a time the party card had a checkbox for Masterwork Thieves' Tools , but it was given the heave-ho years ago.

Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

I am not sure if this was built into the dungeon or not, but at Origins I used my psychic ability to power the laser in the hex grid room.
