60 people get to attend True Hoard. At present, there have been 167 badges sold.

More than 30% of current attendees will get to do True Hoard, and around 1/3 of Hoard tickets were available to non-patrons. Assuming all non-patrons wanted a Hoard ticket, around 1 in 6 would have gotten them.

That strikes me as pretty good odds, based on my experience with cons and "hot tickets" in general. For instance I'm reasonably confident fewer than 1/6 people who want a connected room at GenCon 2017 will get one.

Hooray for (potential) new TD content!

In my experience, watching people play TD is a like watching them play D&D. I mean, you could, if the Fire Marshal didn't object, but on Friday I expect Jeff would be concerned about spoilers for the Saturday crew.

But after a few minutes, I think most spectators would wander off. With everyone crowded around, you couldn't see what's happening on the boards, unless we do it in the honeymoon suite, so it would mostly be people standing with their backs to you, making random "yay!" and "awww..." noises.

I would say it would depend on the DM. I good DM telling a good story can be entertaining.

It seems likely that, being the first, Jeff will have someone recording it all on video, much as they record the GT runs. Seeing it on YouTube, with the boring slidefest portions cropped out, will probably be better than standing around in a hot, crowded room for the whole time

Sadly, this is not possible due to the fact that the space at other times is being used for the two-hour adventure. I am very sorry that they went so quick. From what I can see in the admin tools they were gone in a few seconds.

Perhaps we can run it again at Gen Con -- if it proves popular. More on that later.

Jeff, if there's any way to do a True Horde run (or two) on Sunday morning, we'd be up for that, and I'd bet a ton of other people would be also. :)

Jeff, just call it True Teardown, sell tickets for it, and you'll probably have a sellout. ;)

I looked around a little bit for the answer and didn't see one. I would assume it is out there somewhere, but.. Are we sent the tickets and badges or do we pick them up when we get there? If we pick them up where and what are the times? Thanks.

In a different thread, Jeff mentioned picking them up onsite, and hoping to have a time on Thursday night to pick them up as well.

The All-powerful Jeff wrote: Thanks for your patience. We wanted to wait to see how things went before decided on the plan. Looks like we are going to have a Thursday night pickup at the winery with some unofficial open gaming. We have to work out the details first with the place. Otherwise you can pick up your stuff when you arrive at the Con.

An announcement should be made by Feb. 15th.
