I'll have to pick them up, although I very rarely read fiction nowadays. Basically just ASoI&F, although I have gotten into the Peter Grant series by Ben Aaronovich.

I recommend you read his "Not at all children's books that look like children's books," too.
The Adventures of the Princess and Mr. Whiffle: The Thing Beneath the Bed
The Adventures of the Princess and Mr. Whiffle: The Dark of Deep Below

I listened to the first two books on audio and although I'm sad the third isn't finished it left me wanting more. So I'm very excited to see how the stories have been incorporated into the True Dungeon world and look forward to running at GenCon.

You should also read The Slow Regard of Silent Things.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I really enjoyed listening to both audiobooks and finished them a few years ago and have been impatiently waiting book 3. i read on some site last spring that he is thinking of doing a big multi-media release with the book coming out in conjunction with video games and other things. Not sure if that is true or not. Maybe they would all coincide with GC 2017 and the TD experience as well. We can only hope...

quoting from that article :

On Tuesday, [Lin-Manuel Miranda] announced that he'll produce Lionsgate's planned film and TV adaptations of Patrick Rothfuss' fantasy-book trilogy The Kingkiller Chronicles, and compose original music for the projects.

film AND television!?!
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

That will be interesting. Maybe a souped up version of "Legend of the Seeker" with some "Galavant" thrown in perhaps?

I'm about a third way through my second round of the current series. I am picking up a lot I missed or didn't grasp the first time through.

I wonder if I will be as enthusiastic after GenCon. I hope I am.
