TOPIC: SO to do 10 token challenge for Friday 11PM Grind

Looks like that second ticket is me. I was coming to post an LFO thread for the run, but then I found this one.

I'm definitely willing to attempt a 10 token challenge, though my gear level probably means a quick death for me (I'm doing my first Nightmare run at GHC). I would rather not play a Wizard (I played one my last Grind run, and didn't really enjoy it for Grind, though that was a while ago), but I'm willing to try anything else. My gear is slightly better for Monk or anyone that can wear Redoubt Plate. I'd also be willing to hand over my ticket if you end up finding a good 10 token group.

I'm fine with Cleric, but I don't have much +healing. I think just the Medallion of Focus (and I have 10 Shirts of Linked Healing if we're not doing the 10 token challenge).

If you want cleric I can help you out tokenwise whether we do 10 token challenge or not. I will let you know what I have when I am not stuck on my phone.

Added Khedron which I hadn't previously for some reason. So we know 5 of 6 players. It would be nice to know the last. At this point I think the 10 token challenge is probably off, but bring your 10 tokens sheet just in case. With only 5 or 6 players I am thinking Hardcore (normal on 10 token challenge). What do you guys think?

Whether the 6th person is in for a 10 token challenge or not doesn't mean the rest of us can't play with just 10 tokens. 6 players on nightmare might be something like 10 on epic. ( I really don't know as I've never played epic) We could always do some other twist to make it interesting like no cleric or druid.

If the other person is not in for the 10 token challenge I would not want to mess with their experience (and ours) with Grind by all of us with only 10 tokens and severely underpowered or him severely overpowered depending on the difficulty. I think choosing the right difficult in Grind can be a tricky balancing act if everyone is not around the same power level. Just my two cents. I am find to do just about whatever.

However, due to an issue with scheduling, this event had to be changed. What this means is, you have been automatically moved to the True Grind run starting at 10:00 PM instead. Don't worry, there was room for everyone who was in the 11PM run in the 10PM run, so if you were signed up as part of a dedicated group, you are still together.

I have responded back that I cannot do a 10:00pm run because I have something (a TD run) that doesn't end until 10:24pm. Anyone else get one as well?


I have requested the 6pm run. So I guess I will run with you guys some other time.

I have another run at 8:24 so I'm not going to be able to make the 10pm now either.

Yeah we are in that run together. That is why I went with the 6pm Grind.



In fact I think there are at least a couple of us in the 8:24 run with Harlax and were doing this grind.
