Some valid questions have popped up in the the GHC ticket sales thread and much appreciate the answers from those who've been to GHC before regarding badge/ticket pickup.

Any advice or recommendations for food options or other need to know information regarding this con and surrounding area? I've stayed on Capital square a few times but really don't know what's around this con.

Advice and suggestions appreciated.

I missed year 1, but was there the last 2 years. 2 years ago was great, it had the in-hotel restaurant and a few food trucks outside. Last year, when they moved to the convention center, they only had the convention food and a local pizza place set up shop.
They apparently got a lot of negative feedback about this (and I agree with that). But it sounds like they are listening and adding food trucks back in.
The convention center isn't exactly within easy access of other food options though, the block is pretty much the center and a handful of hotels.
And as lazlo said, there's always delivery.

Thanks for the info, past few times i've been to Madison, i've stayed downtown on capital square and usually live off of noodles and company. Did see the email blast today stating when badge/ticket pickup is. I just wasn't sure how this area compares or if i need to plan on keeping a cache of rations handy like at some other conventions.
