I would think a Tool Band-It would fit that bill. I found one on Amazon Canada , but my jaw hit the floor when I saw they were CDN $65! :pinch:
The 'Murican Amazon only charges US $18. Maybe your US proxy can get one for you?
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

* I have teenagers with (clinically diagnosed) ADHD. I would never give them a token worth $1000 and expect them to keep it on their person for a 2-hour period - particularly not a 2 hour adventure full of excitement, distraction, reaching in and out of pockets, kneeling, crawling, examining, and changing rooms every 12 minutes. My kids don't come to True Dungeon (yet) but still....

* I know other people take their (young) children through the dungeon with them, and would not expect a parent to give their child that degree of responsibility.

* I know other adults with ADHD who accompany their friends through the dungeon and constantly have to be reminded to bring their backpack from room to room. Some of these adults are spouses of people who carry high value TEs.

While I comprehend the reasoning behind having each player physically present their tokens, and each token being physically handled* I question whether it is necessary or advisable to demand that tokens travel through the dungeon with their user - so long as they can be quickly dispersed among the party for inspection when required. Plus, it's difficult to police this. What is to prevent people from collecting TEs in between the dungeon hallways, and redistributing them just prior to Epilogue?

Having said that, I understand the need for these rule changes, and will attempt to comply to the best of my ability.

Thanks for doing your best to find a workable solution, Jeff.

*sniff* goodbye securely taped TE token holders. I guess I'll have to find some other method of storage which allows for easy removal of tokens in Coaching and Epilogue.

As for children, I think it would be best to put the TE's in their starter pack bag and tightly secure it to the child's clothes with large safety pins or the like. And for very small children I hope the parents will be allowed to carry these potential choking hazards.

For very small children that could choke on these - maybe they are too young to be participating in True Dungeon?

I know, right?
Anything which has to be shipped and/or go thru customs is ludicrously marked up.

Not gonna stick a $1000 token to my arm tho, even if I had a tool band-it.
I spent half of one adventure seeing how many times I could remove & return a token from my party member's magnetic arm braver, and the answer was: 5.
(He noticed once.)

And there are far better rogues than I, in the real world.

My opinion

I don't see why tokens can't be stored during the run. That just makes no sense to me. I get having to show them and have them touched at the beginning and end. No worries there.

I don't see why it makes any difference who holds the tokens during the run. If one person has 10 CoA and outfits the entire party, let them show the coach, show the epilogue room. 10 ISSN, same thing.
The party still has them, whether or not an individual carries them or 10 individuals carry them.

If the point is to decrease the loaning of TEs to people you don't know, these new rules will definitely do that for some.

Although, if we're doing that, we probably should disallow ghosts too.

I think the requirement to make everyone carry their own TE Tokens is exactly to discourage people from loaning them out to other people, reducing the overall number of treasure pulls.

The loophole I see though is there's nothing in the current procedure to stop someone from loaning out TE Tokens to everyone in the coaching room, gather them all back up in the hallway to Room #1, and then pass them back out in the Hallway after Room #7. Although I guess even if they do that - the person has them in their possession in the Epilogue Room, and could try to just keep the $1,000+ worth of TE Tokens instead of returning them. It would be a he said/she said situation about who really owned them, and they would be in the possession of the person you loaned them to.

I think each person physically carrying their TEs in the dungeon is going too far (see reasons presented earlier in the thread).
If the concern is TEs funneling down the epilogue line I propose that tables be set up like in coaching. Everyone sits down, epilogue volunteer plops down in a chair in the middle and verifies everyone's TE while everyone is sitting around some tables. Everything is verified, post run goodies distributed and the party goes on their merry way.
PS - I think having to show tokens in a line will cause a standing line to move slower than sitting everyone around a table.

If you have a lanyard with a badge holder, you can stick the tokens in the windowed portion of the holder. They are in plain site, can be accessed easily, and should be safely secured.

I've lost my weapon token out of my Lanyard, twice.

I play the Rogue - I crawl around, I have wriggled through the Rogue's tunnel (which is where the loss happened once), I swing my badge holder around to the back when doing the Rogue Challenge (well, not anymore - now I just wear it on my belt, because again: token loss) and sometimes I fall on the floor dead.

I guess if you have a velcro'd badge holder, it helps. But we can't assume every player will have one of the expensive badge holders.

Then again, you could make them/buy them, and lend them out with the tokens. Or make some special token-holder which could be worn around the neck... Or belt...

Hmm. Don't mind me. I'm still brainstorming exactly how I'm going to handle my own situation (two friends who go on runs with me, but I carry their TE's) ... It'd be wrong to staple things to your friends, right?

I wonder how many people are in this exact situation.

Even without hosting runs I carry the boosting tokens for me, Lokin and Cenobian Kai on every run we do since we bought the first UR
