TOPIC: Tokens for sale

Trying to raise some money for all of the games I will end up buying at GenCon. I might add more tokens for sale, but for now, I am trying to sell the following:

Ring of the Hallowed

I'm surprised there hasn't been any interest. I'll give eBay a try.

I think it is because of the asking price for said items is higher than the current market for them.

Amulet of champion is moving at 150 dollars and no one on eBay is buying it on eBay any higher. I have seen the same listing at 180 and it isn't moving.

Amulet of hero is available at tdtavern for 40 dollars.

And the ring of the harrowed is on eBay now at 50 dollars.

He does ask for 'best offers'. I think that we may just be at a point where people have mixed their pre-con dollars, or are contemplating a last minute gamble on a Golden Ticket.

Quite true, and that is a likely situation at this time of year. I have poorly priced items in the past and was in his same boat. They are cool tokens, esp since they are volunteer tokens, but if those were his expected prices and he felt like the only offers were low balled offers I wanted him to know.

There haven't been any offers. I figured there would be interest b/c they're volunteer tokens, and they all booth STR, which always seems popular.

I figured "or best offer" would take care of issues regarding the prices.

There are probably a number of late orders trying to find those last GTs.

I am curious about the Ring of the Hallowed value. It is a ST boost item which is usually in demand, and it is very low supply. I've not seen any sales so far, but the one on Ebay should give some sort of a baseline value.

I'm betting the Ring Of The Hallowed drops in value after GenCon.

Collectorwise, sounds right, because of the low supply.

One could argue that other comparable rings (Brilliance, Dark Health, Frost) are twice as strong and can be had for 50 to 90% less.

But it's a good ring. Mine isn't for sale, even for twice that.

I'm a bit concerned that there will be a large amount of these in the Treasure Boxes, which would tank the value. It's nice if it stays pretty scarce as a bonus to those that attended TDC.
