I've had a few people ask me about the token trays (which are poker chip trays). They hold 1,000 tokens, and each section can fit 20 tokens (20 is a tight fit, but it works). I think Kirk uses these too.

Note: these trays can get quite heavy with 1,000 tokens in them, but they stack nicely and are very sturdy.

Here's where I get mine: www.discountpokershop.com/1000pc-poker-chip-tray-p-560.html

And here's my new favorite way to store tokens, plastic containers which have 40 compartments. Thanks for the recommendation Ed!

40-Compartment Box with Dividers

These can hold 10 per section. They can actually hold 11, but I like the nice round number of 10.

I can confirm that I use both solutions and they are both great in different ways. I use the 1000-chip trays for bulk storage, e.g. when I have 20 or even 100 of the same token.

The plastic boxes are great for storing a lot of different tokens, 10 or less of each.

Since the subject of token storage has been brought up, do you have any good recommendations for a poker chip case?

I keep looking on Amazon but I don't care too much for their offerings.

Nothing beats a bonafied recommendation from a fellow tokenholic.

Trent and I both sell these aluminum cases with 6 trays inside holding tokens label-up. It is great for seeing a lot of individual tokens.

But if you are talking about traditional poker chip cases, the best I have found is this one:

It is pretty long so I actually bought a hiking backpack to fit it inside, but it is super sturdy. Most of them are really complete junk honestly, so that's why this one is worth it to me, at least for traveling.

And the site I recommended for the 1,000 poker chip trays has something similar to the above link:

I use the aluminum case for all my trade goods, gold and high value tokens since that case doesn't leave the house. I use the binders for consumables and recently updates to a dansco binder for my character with 41mm sheets.

All of my high end tokens wouldn't even fill a single tray :P

I have my build (and all of those high end tokens) in an brown Optima binder. I have my trade goods and gold in another.

I wanted a good solution for storing and lugging bulk tokens that have redeeming value, i.e. not going to get mulched. I think the 500 poker chip case that Kirk and Trent suggested is the way to go.

Thanks, Laz. All my bulk tokens wouldn't even fill one of those drawers, but i guess I could go ahead and future proof
