When it works, though, it's a blast!

I was very fortunate to run this year with Widseth, Bpsymington, Valettutto, Xavon, Adeya, Shady Veldrin, MasterEd, Amorgen & Tobin & co, as well as my usual friends in the DDA, and a bunch of very cool Golden Ticket folks. (And probably a bunch of other well known forumites whose names I can't remember because my brain is like that sometimes!)

I hope to run with many more cool folks & forumites in the future :)

You mean there are things to do at gencon that isn't TD?!?

GenCon has really become True Dungeon Con for me. The only other events I do are the Orc Stomp 5K Fun Run and spending money in the Exhibitor Hall.

I really didn't get a chance to hit the Dealers hall till Sunday after my shift and by then all the good deals were gone and most of the stock was gone too.
As far as events, TD is the only staple. I sometimes do other fun stuff like concerts or the burlesque shows but TD is a must. Want to run all the dungeons next year, I've been doing just the combat dungeons. Also wouldn't mind running on Hardcore or Nightmare for the bonus xp/loot.

OK so not a Legend, how about we consider you a Relic ;)

Seriously tho I'd love to get a few more Forum Staples into my runs this coming year.

I'm a little less TD centric than others since I also focus on Dead Gentlemen stuff and D&D game sessions at my convention but TD is beginning to monopolize my time :)

I wouldn't call you a relic... But as far as I'm concerned, you are a big part of TD. Raven, when I first started playing TD 4 years ago, you were one of the first people I had the pleasure of meeting from the community. You have made my TD experiences amazing every year and I can't thank you enough!

I love that you are so involved with the community and helping people out. You run the rogues game which looks awesome :) I'd have to say you are definitely one of the good ones out there.

I MIGHT even trust this Rogue *might*

Just wanted to revive this thread now that most of us have our tokens for the year! Hoping we can solidify something for this year's con well ahead of time so we can avoid the last minute scrambles!

I hope to join up with a forum group for hardcore/nightmare as my regular guys i run with run normal or nothing. Nothing to do at the moment but wait to see how tickets go come May. Good luck to those going to wyc.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

Hoping Team Synergy will be a thing again this year.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir
