Guess the date when first printing tokens sell out. 18 years 11 months ago #13

HEY I resemble all those remarks...I'm trying to cut down on computer time at home...but at a borring job where posting is a nice escape - I just can't help myself...

Anyone notice the forum token changes that are expected by 4/22?

There is a write up on the main page - this new area sounds GREAT - and it could help cut posts.

Would you rather we joke about taking your tokens away? ;)

George,

Try leaving the forum sometime - or you will end up with 300+ posts... ;)

From the main TD page...scroll down you will see this:

Finally, TD conscript “Doug Martin is hard at work on a “Token Collector utility program that will run inside the Forum section. It will be a cool section where you can store what tokens you own, what tokens you are looking to buy, and what tokens you are willing to trade/sell. This will be a cool way to show off your collection, and for you to get some tokens you really want. It will allow IM’ing, so that trades can be quick and easy. It should be posted inside the Forum by Friday, April 22nd.

I wish there was a link from the Forums back to the TD website. It is a pain having to type the URL to get there.

I am looking forward to the token collector, it will be a big help. Right now I am copying the Price Spread sheet into XL so I can add a few columns to it.

George

PS. As of yesterday, Lori was unsure if the second printing of tokens would be different from the first printing.

I'm looking for some beta testers for the token collection webapp. Hopefully it will be as fun for people to use as the token bag randomizer that I wrote.

I completed 90% of it last week but I need to do a little more work tonight on it and then wrap it in pretty html with images by Darryl. Its _really_ plain right now so that I can focus on function not form.

Right now you can enter how many tokens you own and how many you want to buy & sell (or trade). You can look at anyones token collection and also look by token to see who owns or wants to buy/sell it. The work I'm going to do tonight is to have a match page that shows who wants to sell tokens that you want to buy and vice versa. The app uses the forums login information so you there won't be a seperate login and you should be able to PM people right from the app.

There is no guarantee that any data you enter in the beta phase will remain intact but if anyone wants to test it out PM me and I'll give you the URL sometime after 5pm EST. I don't want to post it here before it is ready to release, hopefully on Friday.

There are seven bags left...plus some loose ones because we ran out of bags. It is getting close!
