TOPIC: The commodity board.

Any worse than keen edge? ;).

Exactly - don't get me started on that one...

But again are you taking into consideration the stone aspect of it?
Didn't you read in the guide that gems are specific in nature and should not rule out the possibility that a particular gem might have a special use inside the dungeon or in the tavern area?
Perhaps they great value is not in what they possess, but what they could unlock?

I was totally looking at that - gems are worth more than their base value in my book!

With respect to items having "extra" value for a specific function in an adventure - you must either add value to every item on a TD token or not add anything to any of them.

Who is to say the Bone map case should not be 5x the price since it is not in the 05 run of tokens, and who is to say if it means the difference in life or death for one of the party if not taken into INDY...personally I plan on the same thing others have mentioned - have as close to a full set of gems on hand as possible - maybe each player must produce one to move on...hard to say - but realistically I think TD has to have an event where someone not buying tokens can still achieve success - perhaps without access to a treasure trove opened or perhaps you FIND what is needed to pass to the next room. Tokens are getting a bad rap as TOTALLY necessary to run a dungeon. Granted weapons and armor - but a non-pouch buyer gets some of those free...I have rambled too long.

Gary,

I think we are saying the same thing. The PG will be altered to reflect reality. Hopefully, the reality can be captured effectively.
