Well, this one will be answered I assume, but can Bards wear Chain? In d20, they can wear a chain shirt, but not full chain. Anything over a chain shirt starts getting into chances of spell failure, which I really hope is not in TD.

If not, that would be a shame, as it would reduce Bards to common frequency armor.

Of course the over-arcing question that everyone has is "who can use what"? Maybe a matrix (column of all items/row of classes) and a X for who can use?

There is a section in the guide of general token comments. In the sub section under armor, weapons, items, etc. there are specifics on which class can use which items. There are some specific exceptions to the general comments in each token type breakdown.

For example, in the general there is a listing of who can use bladed weapons, in the specific section on swords there may be further comments of who can use a great sword.

I will think about a matrix, as it does make sense, If I can get it done tonight it might be in the guide, if not we will just post it on the web or wait for a later revision of the guide if necessary.

I agree, a matrix will be very useful, especially for those non-obsessed players like us when they are picking their armor and tokens. No one will have time to read through everything then (at least without making some mistakes). A large matrix posted in that room would be very useful.

Each character sheet will list which armor and weapon tokens that character can use, and that info will be in the Token Guide as well.

So going out on a limb, I augmented the Unofficial Price Guide with a "Who can use" matrix which makes looking up character/item compatibility very easy. Seemed like a logical fit. I'll pass that along to Jeff and he can decide to use it/post it or not.

Dave, if you would like me to send it to you, just let me know.

1) For the (non-repeating) crossbow, what happens during the "off" round? I assume you need to spend a round doing nothing but loading it?

2) What happens if you try to shoot a bow in melee (ie the monster is attacking You)? Are you doing some sort of simplified attack of opportunity rules, or dropping them entirely?

Will swapping weapon tokens out take any time?

If not, then if I have multiple (non-repeating) crossbows, can I fire a different one each round, and reload them before the next combat?

Can we throw axes and daggers?

Many of these questions should be answered in the Guide which will be posted tomorrow. If they do not answer the questions we will post answers in the FAQ we will start.

It almost sounds like Bracers and Gauntlets can be worn together (in d20 they take up the same slot). T or F?

Note that right now, a common 1h Heavy Mace does more damage than a 2h +1 Quarterstaff. Are you are going to allow Quarterstaff to have 2 attacks per round to make up for this? It is a double weapon in d20 rules. If so, are you going to impose the 2 weapon fighting penalty?

Edit: actually they do the same average damage (4.5), but the original question is still pretty much valid. The +1 QS has a slightly better chance to hit, but you can't use a shield with it and it's very rare.
