Well then, Haste isn't so bad if it lasts for the whole room/combat. Given that you could re-slide a miss every round, you could really put it to good use in larger battles.

Well, it now sounds as if money and gems will be more valueable in the new 2005 module. Yay! The question is what good will old weapon tokens be in the new combat pucks? The old tokens don't have the combat numbers on the outside. Will this make them valueless?

You will be able to exchange your old magical weapon tokens for new ones at the Blacksmith shop in the back alley behind the tavern.

Also...regarding gems. Yes, as a straight GP item they kind of suck, but remember that each Gem token also has a specific type listing below the GP value. There might be certain situations where that specific gem type might come in very handy. Hmmm....

Keep an eye out for places where a Garnet, of example, might come in handy.

So the new rules makes my stupid useless gold tokens into valuable wonderful gold tokens. COOL.

Are the old tokens sold out?

Are the new tokens available yet?

Old tokens = gone - except if you trade...or buy from players

New tokens = May

Not exactly sure - depends on how much I can save between now and then.

$200 worth in a April would not surprise me - then maybe more in May.

Did I mention I like to trade? I hope to do quite a bit of trading at INDY.

I will be volunteering as something/someone and hopefully in a home-made costume. Hope to see you there.

I should find out in April if my residency will be kind enough to let me go to Gen Con. I plan on getting a whole game section of tickets and maybe getting people from this board to fill out the extra four.
Right now, there's me, you, and my wife. Any preferences for time/day?

And I can just imagine you teaching your kids the fine art of negotiation so when they're old enough you can take them through, they can haggle with the best of them for tokens. heheeheehehehe

So fess up, you'll be passing the token addiction to the next generation, won't you?
;) Well thats one way to contribute to TD future. heehhehehe

Well let's just say that so far they have done well taking care of Yu Gi Oh cards and they have never messed with stacks of tokens I may have left out - although I know I am tempting the gods of fate on that one. ;)

If the brood were to go to INDY I think my 5 year old would play for the love of doing things with others, my 4 year old would play because he has a great imagination, and the baby of 6 months would play because he is strapped to my back. Where is mom in all of this you may ask - heck she would be all the all-day spa getting a massage and well deserved break from the day-to-day role of full time mom.

Apteryx,

Was the "you" you refer to in the above me?

Sorry I thought I mentioned wanting to tag along with someone at the INDY con - but I can't find that string???

I am really counting on being a cleric as my tokens and costume are leaning in that direction.

If we had talked about forming a party and I forgot - please forgive - call it token madness or something.

I am all for forming up a group that allows players to be what they want and is as diverse as possible. This forming can be done sooner or later, but the emphasis has to be on group diversity - if we have to wait to get two-three players that is not so bad.

Let me know, thanks.
