TOPIC: Looking for a set of the NEW tokens

I'm wondering about a little detail: How do the "00" bags work from the packing & shipping side of things?
I assume you make one "00" bag for every 100 bags of tokens you pack. Are these then mixed in randomly with all the token pouches, so you don't know who will be getting them when you pack the orders? Or do you roll a couple d10s for every bag ordered, and then pack the special bags accordingly? I guess rolling for everyone would be a lot of work... but I know people who would do it.

We bag and bag "regular" bags until we can't bag any more. Then, I have an empty box that I count out 99 "regular" bags. We then throw one "00" bag into that box. Then we mix them together so that the "00" bag isn't laying right on top. I don't watch the "00" bag to see where it goes. I just throw it in and mix 'em up. Repeat as necessary. Then when the orders are filled, there's NO way I'd know who gets what. This seems to be a fair way to do it because it insures that one in every 100 shipped has the "00" bag. I'm sure someone will post with a "more fair or more random" way to do it, but that's how I've been doing it.

I think that's a good method as any Lori. But.... The only "fair" way to do it, is to make ALL the bags "00"s. *grins innocently*

Let me be the first to say I did NOT get an "00" bag in my latest order. So your odds just improved for the rest of you.

Herm...no notification of ship yet. I hope it gets here before I have to leave for origins.

So you end up with a few big boxes, each of which contains 99 normal bags, and one '00' bag? Then you fill orders, emptying boxes as you go, and when one big box is done, you know that at least one person got a '00' bag?

That sounds very fair. It's not truly as random as 'rolling' 00 - which could allow several '00' bags in the first 100 bags, and then none in the next 200 - but I think I prefer this more even distribution.

Not that I would mind being the one that gets TWO "00" bags...

I didn't get one either, in my 12.

My question is this:

Is my "Great Sword" super special because the token is a miss-strike? ::grins:: The stamping machine came down slightly off-center, so it has a depressed and rounded second edge about around half of its circumference. Hey, it works for coin collectors!

Probaly just means the sword has 5 less HPs if someone tries to sunder it .
