TOPIC: Token Update Jan. 30th

Token Update Jan. 30th 6 years 1 month ago #1

Well, we powered through a lot of orders today. The TD Crew did a great job, and they worked at a deliberate pace. Kudos to Lori, Will and Troy!

We managed to get most of the orders out. We have some $8K orders left to send, as well as a few "multiple orders to same gamer" orders. Oh, and a few Canadian orders are still on the prep table. I suspect we will have all the orders out tomorrow (Wednesday). That should get most orders to all pre-orders collectors by Friday or Saturday.

Thanks everyone for your support! It is always amazing to see the depth of the love for tokens this time of year.

Oh, and I gotta say I think they look very good this year. The printer did a fine job with the printing. And that graphic artist...he gets a bonus! :P

I will update y'all tomorrow.

Thanks to the TD team for powering through what must have been a boat load of Tokens.

Tokens arrived at my house. I drove home to grab them and they are now sitting here at work awaiting for enough people to leave so I start cracking them open.

Mine are in hand.

Pulled a Medallion of Valhalla and Charm of Awareness as my two randoms. Might trade the Charm as I got two as PYPs

No luck on a GT, but none was expected.

Got my order today. Time to relive the joy of opening up old baseball cards or Christmas. Then comes the sorting.... Then the transmutes and trades....

Me explaining token day:

Wife: Thats a lot of stuff, what do you do with it?
Me: I sort it, put most of it in baggies and ship it back.
Wife: Why?
Me: To get more tokens.
Wife: What do they do with the tokens you send back?
Me: They put them in treasure boxes and we get some of the back out the boxes when we play.
Wife: You get some of them back? What do you do with the ones you get back?
Me: I sort them, put most of them in baggies and send them back to get more tokens.
Wife: (Gives me the "you are crazy, aren't you" look)
