TOPIC: Completion Tokens

Completion Tokens 6 years 5 months ago #1

I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around if I should keep some of these completion tokens rather than mulching them.

Nobody in my group ended up using our Pants of Lightstep, so I have a bunch laying around.

I saw mention that Ring of Heroism used completion tokens a while back, but other than that - I'm not sure what some of these are really good for.

Ioun Stone Emerald Pyramid is another one I have sitting around collecting dust.

Is there any actual demand for completion tokens? Old ones? New ones?

It is very specific. There are some past ones that work well. But most collect dust once you get a good mix of tokens.

There does seem to be little demand for most of the older ones, if they are ones that aren't popular to use (like some of the slotless ones). I do try to keep them all in stock in my store though, so if you're going to mulch them, let me know and if I'm low on them I'd be happy to trade for them.

A few are in a bit of demand, as they are spotless with a usefully effect, like Censer of Sacrifice and Lamp of the Effeeti/Marid, and ones whose in game effect justifies a slot, like I believe there is a -1 melee damage Ioun.

Occasionally a collector will want them to round out a complete set.

But other than that, no - I've got a box of maybe 100 completion tokens from 2007 on up an no one is interested in them that I can see
