TOPIC: 2017 Participation Tokens?

Hi all,

As you all know, in the truedungeon.com/newsletter/Quick_Token_Reference.pdf (page 17), there's a 2017 Token Checklist. The Participation portion of it looks like this:

Participation
☐____ of ____ (R)
☐____ ____ (R)
☐____ ____ ____ (R)
☐____ ____ (UC)
☐____ of ____ (UC)
☐____ of ____ (R)
☐____ of ____ (R)
☐____ of the ____ (R)

So this means there should be 6 rare and 2 uncommon participation tokens; a total of 8 (but I only have 7). Once collected, it would look like this:

Boots of Foresight (R) - GenCon 2017
Brawler's Horn (R) - Gamehole Con 2017
Greater Holly Ring (R) - GenCon 2017
Holly Ring (UC) - GenCon 2017
Pants of Lightstep (UC) - GenCon 2017
Pants of Quickstep (R) - GenCon 2017
??? of ??? (R) - ???
Ring of the Hallowed (R) - TDC 2017

As you can see, I'm missing one of the rares from the list, or the list has a typo, or something is listed incorrectly on the tokendb, or there's a conspiracy I'm unaware of.



If I am missing one from my list, I'm curious to know which token is it? Does anyone know?

P.S. This is a good example of when the "Source" filter on the tokendb would be very helpful. I had to scroll through 6 pages, but it agrees with me. This sort only shows 4 rare 2017 Completion tokens (it doesn't have the Gamehole Con token yet, which would make it 5...still short 1 as my list shows):

Hopefully we can get Druegar more cows to help with adding a Source filter!

Greaves aren’t listed anywhere else. My guess: the name of the GHC comp token changed from whatever it was to “Brawler’s Horn” sometime after the book was printed, perhaps due to the change from Greek to Norse

Right, I considered that as well, which means the checklist has a typo. Which I didn't want to believe! I'd rather be wrong than there be a typo in such a biblically important document!

I’m sure it was correct when it was printed, so it’s not a typo

Whew, good point! Now I can sleep better at night!

It's either a typo or Pants of Retrieval , not sure. Pants of Retrieval were originally going to be released elsewhere, so they probably fell through the tracks.

Yeah, that was my other theory, but I'm glad to hear that it's not a token I completely didn't hear about!
