Depending on how you look at such things, the last two slots are actually less than a year apart. Most of us learned about the shin slot at GenCon in early August, and then learned about the Bead slot in late September. So not even two months apart.

As far as when could people aquire them, it sounds like Jeff will have Onyx sets ready to go in early November. So then we're looking at closer to 3-4 months between shins and beads.

But for all we know, these slots have all been in Jeff's plans for quite a while and he's just getting around to releasing them.
