Wear it as a backpack?

Ideally I could go with earth magnets, but I think this particular Velcro will do just fine. I was on a budget. And I can support the full weight of the shield by any individual token, so the Velcro is strong enough I think.

I would think the primary drawback to Velcro, as opposed to magnetic adhesion, would be that it's not compatible with weapon tokens. (That assumes you plan on using the weapons in a slider.)
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

That's an excellent point. I may spring for a few rare earth magnets for the weapons. Currently just gonna carry them in my pocketssess

This is a cool idea, and makes a very cool display for your home. But like others have said, you never want anything you bring into the dungeon to impede your ability to play the game. Also, once you stats are logged, you don't need to show most of what you're displaying here again.

How about shrinking the shield in size so that it could be strapped to your non-sliding arm and just putting the tokens you would need to use in the dungeon on it. The item would still be a cool piece to bring with you but it would function like a buckler.

I've used this site for very strong magnets several times. They're very inexpensive and have great customer service.

I have absolutely no affiliation with them.

With your use of those nagnets....at which point is it overkill and holds the token too well? Or what size disc or ring would you think is good enough? And look finally a question that the Tdb probably can't answer!

As a trainer at Origins I saw the shield today. Very NICE!

I have no idea. But since the magnets are very inexpensive, why not get several sizes and do some testing? If you look at an individual magnet's page on the Gaussboys site, it lists (among other things) the magnet's pull strength. That should eliminate some of the outliers immediately. Once you find a pull strength you find satisfying, buy the full quantity you'll need for the project.

Questions the TDb can't answer number in the infinite. But if you have a question about how to play a token, the TDb should be pretty good at answering it.

That was actually me calling myself out for asking several questions that were easily taken care of by checking the Tdb.
