So now that we've been surprised by an awesome new token as the TDC completion token

Ring of the Hallowed +1 to Strength

What do we think about it. To my knowledge its never been a slot that had STR available, and I cant imagine there are going to be a lot available. Personally I think its going to find a spot in my build.

Sartre sits in in a coffee shop and asks for a coffee without cream. The barista apologizes “Sorry, we don't have any cream. Can I offer you a coffee without milk instead?”

Just want to clarify for those that were not there it was not a completion token. It was the token we received with our badges. So those that ran multiple dungeons did not get multiple of them just 1 with each badge.

And yes I know the Tokendb says they are completion, they just aren't in the traditional sense is my point.

I think it's very nice as an participation token!

I can imagine it working it's way into BiS builds - for melee classes who aren't getting their level off Ring of Heroism it's really competing with Ring of Frost and Ring of Dark Health in glass cannon builds (vs. AC and saves rings in more defensive builds).

I wouldn't mind having 8 or so for my party.

I posted about it in my Barbarian build thread (link in sig), because the max STR now is 46 as a result. It is a solid token for sure. It could be considered BiS in some builds. For the 2H melee characters Ring of Brilliance is probably better. But if you don't have (or don't want to use) Supreme Ring, you could use both Brilliance and Hallowed.

Excellent for those rare-limited Nightmare runs too of course! :)

I wonder if it was a TDC exclusive, or if it will show up again at future events.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Jeff said some would likely find their way into treasure boxes.

And not everyone got one with their badge, just those that pre-registered. Unfortunately half of our group (4 of 8) didn't preregister, so didn't get the Swag bag. It would have been nice for everyone to get this token, even if they didn't get the rest of the Swag bag. I'll have to encourage them more strongly next year (if there is a TDC next year) to preregister for badges. :)

That's where mine is going to find itself in my bloody nightmare build. Most likely. Don't know if it will ever make it into my other build but one never really knows.
