Hmm, now I'm waiting for someone to tell me you can't use Lenses of Sage Speed, Amorgen’s Amazing Ocarina, and Greater Arcane Scroll Tube together on a bard

This was explicitly discussed during token design for Amorgen's Amazing Ocarina and it was agreed that this would work.

Note that this does require your Free Action for this round.

So depending on what was in your hands last round and what you did with your Free Action last round, it might not be possible to switch to the Ocarina and still use Lenses of Sage Speed.

I was pretty excited when I thought I found the Druid's Wild Vestments one niche (using wands or scrolls while polymorphed). I thnk it's a bit of a shame it is not the case and the Shirt of the Fae is wholly better. I guess it makes sense now to exchange it in for the upgrade of the free action potion quaff.
I also thought the Circlet of Elemental Mastery's one niche was being additionally able to alter the Wizard's acid and shock spells into cold/fire/shock damages. Looking at tokendb, that also does not seem to be the case.
