I remember a puzzle that we asked for a grappling hook and subsequently got one. I think it may have involved a dome.

The mirror has saved my butt more than once.

I can't think of much else, but it is always useful to have.

In True Grind it probably has all been useful. In the other dungeons I remember mirrors being useful on Thursday and Friday and chalk being useful at WYC (silenced room).

Mirrors, ropes, hooks, etc. have all been useful. Speaking of the medusa, it was possible to find a stone finger (?) in a room, and if you had a mortar and pestle token, you could grind it up to cure one petrified person in the party.

Wasn't there a puzzle where you could throw items onto a web or grid and you would expose something? Like Minesweeper, maybe?

We used several Turkey legs to keep our Barbarian happy (he was hungry) during the True Grind in 2016. Does anyone have some spare Turkey legs to sell? We are almost out.
