If it is a particular (say DP) then next year we make sure it is the big needed token for transmutes. It has worked for silk and parchment in the past in my opinion.

In the year of the Cloaks, Silks went from like $3 to $8.

Imagine such a recipe came out the year before the Cloaks.

Everyone would have dumped their "worthless" Silks only to find they now had to pay $20 or more.

I don't think this proposal reduces the number of problems. It just replaces one, which we kind of know how to deal with, with another.

Not going to say I'm against it. Just that I don't see it changes the amount of pain, just shuffles it around.

Yeah, just don't see a need for it. If there is a surplus of a certain type of token, the following year just require more of it in the recipes.
