It might be helpful if the following slightly-modified text from the Quick Reference Guide were added to the set information on the +2 Viper Fang:

To qualify for a set bonus, the set’s quota must be filled with unique items if the items are Ultra Rare or lower in rarity. E.g., a ranger may wield two +2 VIPER FANGS, but they only count as one when it comes to qualifying for the Viper set bonus. However, if both of the set weapons are either Relics () or Legendaries, they count as two items toward the set’s quota.

Abyssal Lenses of Taunting

Once per game, a dwarf fighter may use taunt for a second time in a room. However, after the second taunt, the dwarf, but the dwarf will be stunned on their next turn.


After the second taunt, the dwarf, the dwarf is mentioned twice.

Scroll Sanctuary may suffer from Ring envy, as it states "...if the wearer performs..." Might need to substitute "caster" (or equivalent) each time "wearer" is used.

Of course, far be it from me to stop adventurers from wearing scrolls..

In addition to the current Affects AC taxonomy (Increases AC, Decreases AC, When Monsters Attack with Ranged), would it make sense to add "Decreases Target AC" (wording at your discretion) and change it on the following tokens?

SeyLah's +2 Sundering Cestus
Tanglefoot Bag
Wand of Tentacles
Weighted Net

I can't think of any others right now, but there may be more. In my opinion, this change would help clarify the main search a little.

A few more questions today. I may just need to learn how to search the database better, or increase my game knowledge.

What do you think about "To Hit Penalty: Target" (replacing any existing) for:

Scroll Bane
Smoke Bomb
Smokestick
Vial of Ink

How about "Damage Penalty: Target Melee" (replacing any existing) for:

Hand Crossbow Bolt of Enfeeblement
Wicked Spear

I think Orcish Rations needs some values for "To-Hit Penalty".

Do +1 War Sling and Arrow of Slaying really have a Damage Bonus? I can't find it in the descriptions.

Do Skull of Doom , Taskmaster's Gloves , and Thrall Faerie-Iron Skull really have a To-Hit Bonus? I can't find it in the descriptions. I might be missing a special rule for thrown skulls?

All thrown weapons use your strength bonus

All thrown weapons use your strength bonus for damage, but they use your dex bonus for to-hit - unless I've read the table on p8 of the DMG wrong (it's possible). In addition to the Taskmaster's Gloves (which probably should be a Damage Bonus), my concern is that a to-hit bonus would only apply on those Skulls if they're thrown by an adventurer with above-average dex - a situation that may not belong in the stat block.

I still could be missing something!

Any bonus to hit or bonus damage on a token are added to the party card.

A +2 weapon will have the +2 to hit added to the card by the coach.

Bracers of Supreme Archery Adds +2 damage and +2 to hit. Those stats are also added to the party card.

Certain classes start with some extra to hit and damage but no class starts in the negative on a stat.

Unless you have a mighty or throw weapons you don’t get your strength on range.
