Makes sense; you can't spell any of "Druegar grandfathers reagent storage" without "gear". :)

Should Greater Alchemist Pouch be classified as Gear then?

I believe the Ring of the Hallowed ( tokendb.com/token/ring-of-the-hallowed/ ) has also been found inside treasure chests, so should it also have the Treasure Chest source tag in addition to the Completion one?

Legendaries, Relics, Uncommons, Rares, etc. have all appeared in treasure generators. That doesn't mean they should have the treasure generator flag.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

OK thanks, and good answer! That (to me) means that the Treasure Chest "generator" is where these tokens generated/started or first appeared:

And if so, then maybe a better question is why does Ring of Heroism ( tokendb.com/token/ring-of-heroism/ ) and Arcane Recipe ( tokendb.com/token/arcane-recipe/ ) appear as treasure chest generated tokens?

No idea on the Arcane Recipe, but Ring Of Heroism make its debut as a treasure chest item in 2013 before it was transmutable.

Right, the tokendb mentions that, but was it there because it was "generated" treasure or a mistake? hehe

That's why I was a little confused, because tons of other tokens appear in the treasure boxes, but maybe it has to be appear there first to be considered generated by it?

It was done purposefully. 2013 was the year someone burned an arcane recipe to give us a juiced treasure box.

There’s no end to the stories that could be told about many tokens. It depends on what the purpose of the TokenDB is.

If it’s meant to be a comprehensive history of all things token, then yes.

If it’s just meant to be a token taxonomy, which I think it is, then not necessarily.

But it would be an interesting project to create the former.

I admit complete ignorance on this, but should Drue's +5 Baton of Focus be Honorarily Named? I could imagine that it's a shortening of Druegar - to get it to fit on the token? Or someone else entirely?
