TOPIC: Elixer of Life = Overpriced

I tried using the elixer in what I believe is the Hexagon room, but the whole party died, so no one could administer it to me.  I hope it is overpriced, I have a couple, so that gives me some good trading options!

personally, anything that helps is good. value will always be about what seller/buyer agree on. a piece of cardboard is about worthless. unless it happens to be a mickey mantle rookie card.<br /><br /> i like the EoL for the effect of "lets try this again". sometimes damage is going to happen without the opportunity to heal, causing death... how bad do you want to continue on the adventure??? <br /><br /> as for the value i place on them, priceless, if it lets my friends and i continue TOGETHER through the run.<br /><br />i would like to add, that i will be trading (?) amount of them in indy '06. along with a bunch of other very rares. i'll be looking for purples and older printings of tokens.

Part of the reduction in the value of the whole 'do over' effect, is that I think TD is getting less deadly, or at least, less deadly initially. It's not a huge shift from what I recall of the %'s, but the dungeon has been set up so that the huge majority of people make it to the last room or two. At that point, the do-over power is sorta reduced.

However, if you have only signed up for 1 dungeon run, all of the other slots are sold out, and you die in the second to the last room, you might never have another opportunity to see the final room and experience it with a close group of friends.<br /><br />It does have its uses in some circumstances.  :cool:
