TOPIC: Print run size of 2005C?

Print run size of 2005C? 18 years 2 months ago #1

Does anyone remember the number of tokens in the 2005C printing?

From the token price guide (V21), I find that:

the 2003 run was 700 Bags ( 7,000 tokens)
the 2004 run was 1400 Bags (14,000 tokens)
the 2005A run was 500 Bags (5,000 tokens)
the 2005B run was 2,500 Bags (25,000 tokens)

There was also an emergency "D" printing in the middle of SoCal, as well.

Dave

It sounds right, Jeff will have to confirm, however.

I believe that 2005C was actually a reprinting of 2005A but I don't know the print run size.

Doug, you may be right or it may be more complicated: for the 2005C set: 2005A reds but 2005B green and browns.

I have a wand of CLW with the 2005B/C logo on it. I don't have any of the rares or commons, but got tokens from the 2005C set. Anyone have others of the deleted items from 2005B like a potion of detect magic or a scroll of purify food & water?

I believe Jeff said earlier that it was a miscommunication or an inadvertent mistake by the printer. =|
