Jeff has already said the quarterstaff can be used as a thrusting weapon, and I'm sure the Dagger would fit that category too.

The Trident seems very overpowered, but I guess it does about the same average damage as the Bastard Sword (distributed differently),  and is also limited to Barbarian & Fighter, so I guess that's OK.  That does make me wonder though, if the two weapons are fairly equivalent, why not replace the Rare +1 Bastard Sword with a +1 Trident?

I really like the Triton Horn and the Wand of the Eel, it is nice to give the Bard and Druid a minor damage dealing item like that.

The Trident has always had that damage wheel (since 2009) and it does slightly less average damage than the Bastard Sword (5.2 vs 5.3). I do think that the +1 Trident would be more thematic, but then you'd get complaints that the +1 Bastard Sword is still top of the class and needs to get reprinted. I don't mind either though.

I don't mind the Bard/Druid doing more things, as long as they don't step on the specialty of the Wizard. Ideally, it would be cool if the Wands were usable by the Bard/Druid, but they were more effective when used by the Wizard. So the Wand of the Eel deals 4 damage with the Wizard, but only 2 or 3 damage with the Druid.

I think Jeff is kind of already going down that road, by saying that Druids can use some of the lesser Wands, but the most powerful ones can still only be utilized by a Wizard.
