Amulet of Health- +2 Constitution (+1 HP per Level, +1 Fort save)


This one I like.

My ideas:

+1 Monk's Sandals (Damage wheel: 2-3-4-5-6-7): Wearer may make a Flurry of Blow attack with this item plus a single unarmed attack or melee weapon.
Usable by: Monk
This item lets you use a weapon like the Sais and still get Flurry.  Also, the second Item in the Monk's set.

+1 Bracer of Echoing Knuckle (Damage wheel: 2-2-3-4-6-7-8-9): On a natural 20, instead of a critical, the user may do sonic damage equal to half the value slid to all monsters in the room.
Usable by: Monk

+2 Partisan (Damage wheel: 3-4-4-6-6-8-8-10-10-12): Can make melee attacks against enemies outside of melee range.
Usable By: Fighter, Paladin, Barbarian, Druid, Cavalier (two hands)

+1 Shield of Gaea: +2 AC, -1 Damage from Fire, Frost, Shock, Sonic, and Acid
Usable By: Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Cavalier, Cleric, Bard

Ioun Stone, Star Ruby: Damage inflicted by Rings of Elemental Command is added to melee attacks.  (So if you wear the Ring of Air Elemental Command with this Ioun stone, your melee attacks do +2 Shock damage)

Charm of Free Action: Immune to Hold, Slow, and webs.

Belt of Ammunition: Select three ammo tokens at start; these become once per room instead of use once.
Should probably be limited to one rare ammo type.

And my personal favorite, because it absolutely won’t happen….
Neck of Glory- Taking up two rings slots, the Neck lets user can wear an additional Amulet. Two of the same Amulet cannot be worn.


Yuppers.  I was thinking about an "amulet of amulets", but yes, I agree, that seems WAY too powerful as a UR, its more at the Arcane Recipe level


If it could just somehow not work with a HoP + a Double HoP rolled on an AoW. Maybe it can only take the best token increasing effect. Heck, even if it overpowers URs, it might be a good Golden Ticket item or Volunteer Reward.... Well, one can dream, right?

it has already been ruled that if you get the double horn of plenty, it does not stack with the regular HoP.

Maelstrom Totem (Druid Only): off-hand item, power is either: 1) any critical hit by any party member causes the monster's next attack to do only 1/2 damage or 2) +1 to damage, any critical hit stuns monster for 1 round.

Poseidon's +2 Trident
: adds 2 pts shock or water damage to the damage wheel

Ring of Ocean's Calm (Wizard, Bard, Druid, Cleric, Ranger, Paladin): wearer may cast mute or silence once per room

Swashbuckler's Sash: may make ranged attack using melee weapon and bonuses

Cat Paws (hand slot): +1 ac, immune to hold, slow, webs (same as boots of free action)

Of ones suggested already, I really like the Executioners Hood and Kraken's Kiss

My own request: Ring of Protection +2 ... ever since the Purple woodie Ring of Pro+1 was devalued by printing the Red Ring of Pro+1, I've been hoping we'd see an UR +2 version (and allow players with the woodie purp to trade in for that one) Or, if Ring of Protection +2 is too much, then make an UR Ring of Protection +1 which *also* grants +1 to all saves. The woodie Ring of Pro+1 could be retro'd to include those +1 to saves (just like a lot of the woodies have benefits that weren't fully described on the token).

Please. It would Make Henwy less grumpy, at the very least!


Sands of Time

Allows user to reverse time by removing all results(both positive and negative, party and monster) of the most recent round. Consumable, 2 uses then sand is used up.


I love the name, and think the described effect is cool, but this would be a *bitch* to deal with in Combat.

One of the most frustrating things in combat is that you've only got 12 minutes. This would, effectively, cost you a minute or two of the room, negating the previous round. Possibly longer as players asked for spent ammo back, or moved their HP markers back (sometimes not remembering exactly how many pts damage they had taken) and un-marked their used spells.

I wonder if it could be modified to a slightly different effect - like negating a single monster's attack (might be a bit too powerful against Breath Weapons), or undo-ing some trap the rogue just set off which hurt the whole party, or
un-doing a single wrong puzzle answer.

Helm of Beauty +1 AC and grants wearer +1 damage to bard song.  Bard only



Love the concept, but maybe a different name.  Resonant Helm??

Here's what I've come up with so far....

Flute of Siren Song - All monsters that can hear must make a DC:15 save or be charmed and lose their attack for the round.  As long as the bard continues to sing, the monster must make their save to attack.  This is a hands free instrument so bard can still slide, but no verbal actions.

Charm of the Dolphin - Allows Paladin to shield another player without the normal "to hit" penalty

Ring of Typhoon - On successful melee hit, monster must make a DC:15 reflex save or be caught in a water cyclone for one round.

Vest of Bangles (armor slot): Gain one extra ring and one extra amulet slot.  Cannot use UR rings or amulets in these slots.

Ring of Vampiric Regeneration - heal 1 hit point per melee weapon hit (my D&D 1.0 favorite)

Scholar Spectacles (Wizard,Bard) (eye slot) - +2 damage from damage scrolls

Quiver of Returning (slotless) - Ammo token is returned to player on a missed attack

Shield of the Martyr - +3 AC, once per combat take damage for another player

+1 Ballista (Barbarian) - 2 2 2 2 8 15 15 8 damage wheel, may fire once per room

Belt of Flanking (all but rogue) - allow the Rogue to sneak attack twice in same combat (no sneak round required for flank attack)

Ach! You beat me to it, but I had a different name to keep with the water theme: Ring of the Lamprey.
Could also be +2 Lamprey Cudgel (heals 1 HP per hit) and have a 3-4-5-6 damage wheel.

Hoo, boy - need to get my thinking cap going!  Too bad about the gifts, but NBD.

No cloak of the Archmage, please - we already have cloak of the Mage!

Will be back with purp ideas.


I said Robe, not Cloak, so it would stack and replaced the rare Robe of the Mage (which takes the armor slot of the mage) with an additional 1 pt of AC, +1 Saves, and +1 HP.
